Ms. Ayres specializes in employment-based immigration matters, navigating the many regulations and agency rules in order to find the best solution for her clients. She represents a broad range of clients ranging from small to-medium-sized businesses, start-ups, investors, professionals, students, and spouses and fiancés of US citizens. Her cases span nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters, including H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, and PERM labor certification, as well as applications for legal permanent resident status (“green card”).
Ms. Ayres is admitted to practice in California and Missouri and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Missouri School of Law, where she served as a member of the Missouri Law Review. She spent a summer studying dispute resolution, constitutional law and criminal justice in Cape Town, South Africa. Through participation in the Midwest Innocence Project and the Family Violence Clinic, Ms. Ayres represented indigent populations at the appellate and circuit court level. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Missouri State University.
Ms. Ayres also volunteers as a legal first responder, assisting victims of the California wildfires access disaster relief services.
